A new Circulos Gray Added to the Collection!

Keeping it a little more subtle we added this fab look to our collection for the Fall of 2018 (though it is still 90F here so not really Fall). It is Circulous Gray. Nice looking Gray on a beautiful white base.

Same price as our other Encaustic Cement Tiles 8×8″ tiles: $10.95 a Square Foot and Free Shipping (until 2018 – hopefully we can push beyond that date with low prices, but we are in a time of some economic uncertainty – globally that is).

Anyway the marketing people like a date, just in case someone comes back 200 years later after seeing this post and demands for $10.95 a Square Foot which would probably be inflation linked about $0.10 a Square Foot 🙂

Cement Tiles or Concrete Tiles are popular there is no escaping that fact from Property Brothers to other sightings on other HGTV and DIY network shows Cement Tile is proving to be the darling bold look of the 2020’s. Or the end of the 2010’s. It is going to be that look that we look back on and think that just looks good, brighten up a laundry room floor, add to a bathroom or really anywhere, the traction on the surface of this Encaustic Cement Tile is a huge plus.

Even if you just use it in a shower pan the anti-slip surface is impressive. It is afterall concrete. But Handmade and with incredible endless looks. Some are clearly more popular than others and this black and white look is a bold look a great pattern but not “overwhelming” it is a step into the bold but not into the crazy.

Handmade Encaustic Cement Tiles. I love this product! I really have no idea why, perhaps it is the bold design, the black and white and how attractive it looks as a backsplash or a floor to a bathroom with our Italian Carrara Marble on the walls.

Atlas Gray sold out as soon as it arrived. More is on the way, but at $11.45 a Square Foot and Free Shipping the lowest price online that may have something to do with it. But their are other product fortunately still in stock (a screen shot of the website page above).

The Handmade Encaustic Cement Tiles market like all tile products plays with the prices (this seems to be an increasing issue) to confuse customers. The tiles are 8×8″ with many competitors selling by the tile for $8.00. To get the square foot price you have to multiply by 2.25 (as that is how many 8×8″ tiles are required to make a square foot), so at $8.00 a tile (initially looking cheaper than our price of $11.45 a Square Foot, is effectively $18.00 a Square Foot (and then shipping).

Our price point in many cases is almost 50% lower than other companies. This explains why the one product sold so quickly. That gives the CFO a choice…..  raise the price to control demand or order more to meet the demand. We are going for the latter option and brining in a lot more to meet the demand and keeping the price low.
