Carrara Venato Bathroom – Customer Pictures

In the shower they chose Carrara Venato 3×6″ Honed for the walls with a 1×2″ Herringbone Picture frame (we have a choice of 24 Herringbone mosaics) around the shower unit using a 1×2″ Herringbone Honed inside that bordered with pencils.  A great look, nice and simple so elegant. With the 3×6″ costing just $7.00SF and the Herringbone $11.45SF and Pencil $9.95 Each the Venato collection with over 200 different products has something for everyone.  The trick with marble is what you are looking for and making sure before anything ships to you that the image you have in your mind matches what we are sending.  As we cannot read your mind – this is where we need to work together!

If you are 100% OCD and nothing can be wrong “ever” then marble is probably not for you as every single tile has different veining and I would recommend a retailer that can Water Jet cut and pick through tiles to your specification (be prepared to part with $200 a Square Foot).  If you are 40% OCD and want a very specific look and people do this.  Then over order and pick through or email us.  Then we can discuss the costs involved in meeting your standards.  Some people are so specific, one customer for example needed 3,000SF of Nero Marquina, it needed white veining with no more than two white veins per tile and no thicker than 2mm.  We did it, but it was hugely expensive.  As you know, anything can be purchased, you can have any car you want, you just have to pay for it.

If you are like the rest of us and know that a Carrara bathroom can add $30,000 in equity to your home and yes, buying direct can save a fortune then you have found the right place.  We own the rights to this quarry, it is our product, it is exclusive trademarked brand and even then we do not mark it up like a regular company.  We keep the cost low.  We work with a no frills marketing strategy (so iPhone images and no marketing budget, word of mouth growth).  Operating on the lowest cost possible, (examining if anything can be improved all the time), investing everything into the quality of the product and keeping the price down.  We do this to the extreme, an example of this is our Brilliant Glass tile line, we do not even pay with terms (like everyone else), we pay with cash to keep the price as low as possible.  Cash is a great way to work it always ensures you are very well looked after.  As most businesses always need cash!  It also means you are not a debt risk to suppliers, you are therefore provided a better price, quicker shipping and better quality. This is then passed onto our customers. Not quite finished yet: Carrara Venato 3″ Hexagon Honed $11.75 a Square Foot used on this shower floor, customer order 16 sheets for this size area.  Always order 20% more, sometimes people order 30%, it depends what look you are trying to create.  Some customers take out Hexagon pieces and replace them.  Lay it out before installing. Create the perfect picture.  Then when finished please email us a picture.  All we see are boxes 😦

Borders are great finishing touch to any bathroom

Finishing touches this is Bardiglio Gray and Carrara Venato Basketweave border for $11.95 each and free shipping.  It is the borders and edge pieces that make the room.  These individual pieces make a room pop and it need not be this complicated it can just be a 1×12″ Bardiglio strip that is an accent for $5.45 each.

They make a marble bathroom an “incredible” marble bathroom and introduce a “wow” factor and then people will ask, where did you buy this from.  That is our advertising. Not putting pictures in Home and Garden for $500,000 (that is how much it costs) and then having to add that cost to the product and having change $50.00 a square foot (but all marketing costs can only be recovered oneway through the product that is being sold, it cannot be recovered through donations).  Word of mouth is our strategy.  Granted it is slower, significantly slower.  But a no frills marketing strategy means, well, no marketing our customers are our marketing.  Thank goodness we are not selling cakes, our marketing would be eaten 🙂

Free Shipping on this and all our glass through 2015.  Cathedral Gray 3×6″ glass tile is on special offer through the end of the year or while our stocks last.  These are premium kiln fused backed glass subway tiles, (not painted and cured).  8mm premium glass tiles.  I know these can cost $40.00 a square in retail stores but we purchase container loads at a time, a retailer orders by the job from a distributor (like us).  You can see the impact of economies of scale and it is huge.  We do not buy with terms (only cash), so the manufacturer has zero risk of payment, the factory does not have to debt factor and add this into the product cost.  We have no AP department and no AR department, so more cost reduction. We just ship incredible products through a business model that is not practical for major corporations.

We also operate on very low margins, we are not here to drive around in supercars and fly private jets, just make a living and provide for our families.  So our cost base is incredibly low combine all this with a no frills zero marketing budget and this allows us to price far below competitors.  Our glass tile collection can be found online here. But do not let our strategy lead you to believe this is a small operation.  We stock (and all paid for already) over 2 million square feet of tile, additionally we are starting building a new 2 acre warehouse facility right in Alpharetta, GA.  So yes, that part admittedly could be cheaper.  But where we work is pretty and the community is safe this is important for all our GA customers that pick up locally.  Our new warehouse will be operational by spring/summer 2016 and have the availability of 30 loading docks.  The largest facility of its kind in the Southeast.
