Attached is a picture of our master retreat/ dream bathroom in the house we just built.  I purchased the marble through you guys at $8-$9 a square foot.  This same tile would have cost me $25-$35 a square foot at the flooring and tile specialists in our area.  When I told them about the products I saw on your site, they laughed at me and tried to play it off as “junk” marble much like they tried to downplay the big box store’s hardwoods as “junk” hardwoods.  I know better than to follow their biased advice so I walked out of their stores time and time again.

If it looks like marble, feels like marble, and smells like marble; then its gotta be marble.  You can see by the picture, our dream is a reality and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of marble.  Please use this email as a testimonial for those who are teetering between you and one of those “specialty” stores.  The tile that shows up at your house does indeed look exactly like the pictures online.  I can even report that my tile installer reported not a single broken tile during shipping.  With nearly 100 sq. ft. of tiles delivered across the country, this caught me by surprise.

You guys also have remarkable customer service.  Stephen, I was most impressed that I was able to send you my floor plan and you came back at me with estimates of how much I would need.  Everyone else wanted to charge me $30 to $50 to come to my house to give me an estimate for how much I would need, they wouldn’t do it based off of the plans.  Kudos to you and your team and their flexibility.

My only regret is that I ordered so much extra tile based on some breakage, and that breakage really didn’t occur due to your high quality shipping.  We also used less trim pieces than expected because of how nice the tile looked without it.  So really, no regrets.

Arabesque Mosaic Options for Under $7/SF

Here are three great products that are all under $7.00 a Square Foot. You have Fog Crackle Arabesque $6.95 a Square Foot then White Arabesque $6.95 a Square Foot in Gloss and Matte Versions and then Finally Bianco Arabesque but as of March 29th 2016 will be called by us “Antique Design Arabesque“. But as I write this blog I realize that this has absolutely nothing to do or look like Bianco at all. Not even close. The Supplier called the product on the far left “Bianco”. I have no idea why???

So I am making an executive decision and changing the name to “Antique Design” as it has an almost antique effect to the edge. See below.  I have changed the image above so now it all makes sense!

You can see the Antique effect here better on a close up. It is practically impossible to see online, you can see that it is not quite white by the comparison shot. IMHO it is the antiquing effect on the edge that makes this product so different.

It will also create the largest challenge to selling online. It really is a “retailer”in store product. If you see if you would go “ahhh…..” but with pictures it looks no different as the effect on the edge cannot be seen. It will sell well locally in our new facility.

This product is from MS International but to call this “Bianco White” as they have done, is misleading to the consumer. I think it is done for the purpose of attracting traffic. The word Bianco is a popular word. So instead of describing what they see they are going for the best possible social media hits or perhaps they just do not know. But this is not a Bianco. Does not look like Bianco. It has no veining at all!

How White Can you go? With Venato Carrara 1×3″ Honed for $11.45 a Square Foot and also available in polished which looks like this in a room scene also $11.45 a Sq.Ft. for the polished version here (all prices quoted are valid thru 2016). It can go as white as well….. white 🙂

As white as white. It is the whitest based marble in the USA. Why do others simply not copy this incredible marble. Two reasons and they are both in the best interests of the consumer and that is why we were quickly granted a Trademark.

A. We are trying to add value back to consumers and you can read that here (the US Patent office attorneys did). This business was never about the money. It has always and always be about putting right something which is either a) Broken or b) Wrong. Even the USA Government sees this, that says something 🙂

B. It stops confusion, before the Trademark other foreign companies were copying saying they had it, a consumer needed 50 Square Feet to complete their job, they bought from Mexico Tile thinking it would match……  Nope not even close. Who do they call to complain us.

What did we do wrong? It was the consumers choice to buy from Mexico Tile (I made this name up, I am not going to put in real troublemakers names, I will not draw any attention to them). So after a number of these letters the US Patent office decided to put an end to this and give us full control over this very, very white based marble.  The color of the year is “White”.
