Incredible lot of Calacatta Honed 1×2″ Basketweave Mosaic Tile $15.95SF

Italian Calacatta marble blocks are becoming so difficult to get hold of (in its premium pure white based form) that on this occasion the quarry did not even have enough material to make a full pallet of Basketweave.  I can understand why.  The quality of this Calacatta is exceptional.  The base is white and the veining is perfect not too busy, just right.  The downside is we only have 230SF of this incredible basketweave mosaic.  If it is all sold by the time you see this post, I apologize.  We have more on order, but when more will arrive is unclear as being a natural product we are subject to what comes from the mountain.  2014 has been a really difficult Calacatta year.  I hope 2015 will be kinder to us.

We updated this on June 29th 2016 to add in these two room scenes received from customers.

On the wall they used the Carrara Venato 3×6″ Subway Tile for $7.00 a Square Foot and for the edging used the Bardiglio 1×12″ border strip and then added 4×12″ Venato honed for edging that.  The Bianco gives the look a nice contrast for grout on this tile they matched the Gray of the stone (very clever)!
